Uncommon to rare magpie penguin. These magpie penguins are endemic to central California where they live on a varied diet of smoked salmon and cream cheese, kippered herring, and the occasional worm or two.
When not frolicing about the ice, they are known to tease photographers. Like Lucy Brown, they have pulled the football away, at the last moment, on more than one occasion
