One of my absolutely favoritest birds :-)
Endemic to the California central valley, in population decline, its always a pleasure to see one. And I always have to sneak up on them because they are very smart and very wary.
So imagine my surprise to find out they are approachable at Pinnacles. Woo-Hoo! More to come.
